Optus Brand
Campaign shoots Commercial, Saturday 9th
January 2010
The
Optus Commercial involved the donating of
a brand new Tarago mini van with disability access
by local Optus franchisee Rob Hodges and
included local people in the community. Kevin &
Josie Roe, together with Rita Lawson-Crofts, who all
run Foyer Friends, accepted the keys to the van on
behalf of the Powerhouse Community Centre.
They were very excited with the opportunities it
would present not only for the Powerhouse but also
for the wider community, and thanked Rob and all
those involved for their generous donation. The mini
van will be a valuable asset for outings and picking
up those who are unable to get to Foyer Friends due
to various reasons, and will also be made available
to other non-profit and community organisations,
offering transport for a variety of needs.
